World Asthma Day, which has been celebrated since 1998, is approaching.

This year, the Global Asthma Initiative GINA would like to draw attention to the fact that the majority of the burden of morbidity and mortality due to this disease is in low- and middle-income countries.

As the Polish Society of Allergology and the Coalition for Asthma Treatment, we deeply believe in the mission of education and make every effort to ensure that our actions improve the quality of life of patients and their relatives.

In connection with the celebration of World Asthma Day, we have planned a number of activities, which we cordially invite you to follow:

  • the conference “Quo Vadis Medicina?”, co-organized with the Association of Journalists for Health, during which experts will speak, among others PTA President, Prof. Maciej Kupczyk;
  • premiere of the “Fighting for Breath” podcast, which is a series of conversations about the barriers that patient organizations face on the way to helping patients, as well as showing the disease through the eyes of patients and presenting the results of the research from the report “Living with severe asthma. The patient’s point of view” bit. ly/3A8Fncu;
  • activities involving the Polish media to focus on the problem of asthma.

Asthma care for ALL!
