Legal basis and purpose of processing your personal data

We may process your personal data because it is necessary to achieve the purpose of PTA in accordance with the adopted statute, in particular:

bringing together people whose subject of activity or interest is experimental and clinical allergology and related fields,
representing and promoting Polish allergology in the country and abroad,
dissemination of knowledge about allergology in society, in particular among medical students, doctors, secondary medical staff and technical workers,
participation in professional development of doctors, nurses and other health care professionals in the field of allergology,
cooperation with state administration bodies, professional self-governments and associations in order to ensure the appropriate level of allergy treatment in Poland,
organizing and supporting research and scientific work in the field of experimental and clinical allergology, as well as cooperation in this area with other institutions and associations,
conducting and supporting various forms of training and educational activities undertaken for the benefit of representatives of the medical and related communities, in order to expand knowledge and practical skills in the field of allergology.

Your rights towards PTA regarding data processing

We guarantee the fulfillment of all your rights arising from the General Data Protection Regulation, i.e. the right to access, rectify and delete your data, limit their processing, the right to transfer them, as well as the right to object to the processing of your personal data.

You can exercise these permissions when:

in relation to a request for rectification of data: you notice that your data is incorrect or incomplete;
in relation to the request to delete data: your data will no longer be necessary for the purposes for which it was collected by PTA; you withdraw your consent to data processing; you object to the processing of your data; Your data will be processed unlawfully
in relation to the request to limit data processing: you notice that your data is incorrect – you can request to limit the processing of your data for a period enabling us to check the accuracy
you may request that the processing of your data be limited for a period enabling us to check the accuracy of this data; Your data will be processed unlawfully, but you do not want it to be deleted; We will no longer need your data, but you may need it to defend or pursue claims; or you object to the processing of data – until it is determined whether our legitimate grounds override the grounds for objection
in relation to the request to transfer data: the processing of your data is based on your consent and this processing is carried out automatically

You have the right to lodge a complaint regarding our processing of your personal data to the supervisory authority, which is the Inspector General for Personal Data Protection (address: Inspector General for Personal Data Protection, ul. Stawki 2.00-193 Warsaw).

When can you object to the processing of your data?

You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data when their processing is based on a legitimate interest or for statistical purposes, and the objection is justified by the specific situation in which you find yourself.

Do we share your personal data?

PTA may share your personal data with entities supporting PTA as part of organizing any educational and training events such as conferences, symposia, congresses, academies.

PTA may transfer your personal data to public authorities fighting fraud and abuse.

How long do we store your personal data?

PTA stores your personal data in connection with your registration in the PTA membership area.

Additionally, we may store data for statistical and archiving purposes for a period of 10 years from the date of termination of the event causing the need for such processing.

At the same time, for accountability purposes, we will store data for the period in which the PTA is obliged to retain data or documents containing them to document the fulfillment of legal requirements, including enabling control of their fulfillment by the
